Happy 2026! We’re kicking the new year off with an ice climbing meetup at Whales area of Chapel Pond Canyon this Wednesday, Jan. 7 at 5:45p — bring your headlamp! All are welcome, but we don’t recommend pulling into the Chapel Pond campsites parking unless you have all/4-wheel drive. Alternative access from the Chapel Pond parking lot by walking across Chapel Pond (at your own risk). It’s the first climbing area you come to once entering the canyon.
